Association les cœurs purs

Centre de jour de scolarisation d’enfants handicapés physiques ou intellectuels, au Caire en Egypte. Le Dr. Fifi Fahmy Tawfik, Mme Amira Jimmy Tadros ont fondé le centre « Les Cœurs Purs » pour s’occuper des enfants handicapés du Caire issus de familles démunies financièrement en 1997. Le Dr. FF Tawfik, pédiatre consultant expérimentée, et vice-ministre des Affaires Sociales, grandement affectée par la situation des enfants handicapés sans ressources, abandonna son poste ministériel pour se consacrer à l’éducation de ces enfants. Après son décès prématuré, sa tâche a été reprise par ses deux fils et un conseil d'administration. La famille a vendu l'immeuble abritant l'école et a ensuite quitté l'association. Actuellement, le financement est partiellement effectué par la fondation « Les Graines de l’Espoir en Egypte », mise en place par le Dr Amin Attia au Caire, à partir de dons de particuliers.

A day school and professional vocational center for handicapped children with physical or intellectual disabilities in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Fifi Fahmy Tawfik and Ms. Amira Jimmy Tadros founded the Pure Hearts Center to care for disabled children in Cairo for financially poor families in 1997. Dr. FF Tawfik, an experienced pediatrician consultant, and vice- Minister of Social Affairs, greatly affected by the situation of disabled children without resources, abandoned her ministerial post to devote herself to the education of these children. After her untimely death, her job was taken over by her two sons and a board of directors. Since then the family has sold the buidling housing the school and left the association. Currently, the funding is partly made by the Association "The seeds of Hope in Egypt", set up by Dr. Amin Attia in Cairo, from donations from individuals.
